This performance-focused proprietary software significantly enhances server efficiency and provides seamless cross-server integration capabilities.
Blocity is a custom Velocity fork engineered specifically for Blocksmiths Network, offering advanced multi-proxy routing and sophisticated multiserver join functionality. This proprietary solution enables seamless player distribution across multiple game servers while maintaining optimal network performance and latency.
RedEye is an advanced anti-cheat and player tracking system developed exclusively for Blocksmiths Network, featuring real-time detection algorithms and comprehensive bot protection mechanisms. This proprietary security solution continuously monitors player behavior to maintain fair gameplay and server integrity.
GodSeeEverything is Blocksmiths Network's most advanced tracking and anti-DDoS network protection software, successfully defending against attacks up to 10tbps with zero damage. With real-time power capacity ranging from 1tbps to 5tbps, this proprietary system utilizes multiple distributed servers to redirect malicious traffic away from the main infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted service availability.
My journey with Minecraft began in 2012, and it has evolved into a continuous learning experience. When I discovered modded Minecraft in 2013, I became deeply interested in understanding server mechanics, mod interactions, and performance optimization. What started as curiosity has grown into a genuine passion for server infrastructure and game development.
Over the years, I've developed proficiency in several programming languages including Object-oriented programming language widely used for Minecraft server development and backend systems.Java, Scripting language used for web development, server-side applications, and automation.JavaScript, Type-safe superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript, enhancing code reliability.TypeScript, Command-line interface scripting language for system administration and automation.Shell, and High-level programming language known for its simplicity and versatility in scripting, automation, and backend development.Python, with a particular focus on network infrastructure and server optimization. I've contributed to various Minecraft servers, working on performance improvements and developing solutions to enhance server efficiency.
In 2018, I undertook an interesting challenge - running a heavily modded Forge server with approximately A large number of modifications extending Minecraft's functionality, requiring careful optimization and compatibility management.250 mods on a A low-cost, credit-card-sized single-board computer with limited resources, making it a challenging platform for game servers.Raspberry Pi 3 with only Very limited memory capacity for running a heavily modded Minecraft server, requiring extreme optimization.4GB of RAM, successfully supporting around A significant number of concurrent players for such a resource-constrained environment.45 concurrent players. This project involved extensive JVM tuning, custom garbage collection strategies, and careful mod optimization. While challenging, it provided valuable insights into resource management and server optimization techniques.
I've collaborated with several modpack teams, specializing in Java optimization and server pack creation. My work has involved addressing mod compatibility issues, performance profiling, and creating configurations that balance stability with performance. This experience has contributed to various modpack releases and helped refine my approach to server configuration.
I've been using Linux since 2016, and I'm currently running A lightweight and flexible Linux distribution following a rolling-release model, favored by advanced users for its customization.Arch Linux as my primary desktop environment. My Linux experience extends to both user and server environments. For my Minecraft server infrastructure, I use A stable and widely-used Linux distribution optimized for server deployments, known for its reliability and long-term support.Ubuntu Server, while for algorithm development, anti-cheat systems, and DDoS protection services, I work with A lightweight and flexible Linux distribution following a rolling-release model, favored by advanced users for its customization.Arch Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux - A commercial Linux distribution known for enterprise-grade stability, security, and support.RHEL. This diverse Linux experience has allowed me to leverage the strengths of different distributions for specific use cases, from development environments to production server deployments.
I've also worked on cybersecurity implementations, developing DDoS protection systems and security measures for game servers. Through these projects, I've gained practical experience in protecting infrastructure from various attack vectors and maintaining service availability under challenging conditions.
In the summer of 2025, I co-founded A collaborative venture focused on creating innovative Minecraft solutions for Turkish players, including both server infrastructure and launcher software.Blocksmiths Project together with Co-founder and collaborator on the Blocksmiths Project, working together to build innovative Minecraft solutions.Algomi. This venture has been a significant undertaking, and we've developed two main components:
A Turkish Minecraft server platform focused on innovation, unique gameplay experiences, and regular content updates, distinguishing itself from traditional Turkish servers.Blocksmiths Network — We set out to create a Turkish Minecraft server that offers a different approach compared to the current market. While many Turkish servers tend to offer similar content and game modes, we focus on regular innovation, modern architecture, and unique gameplay experiences. Our platform emphasizes fresh content, new features, and a player-centric design. We're continuously developing custom game modes and innovative systems to keep our community engaged.
A custom Minecraft launcher designed specifically for Turkish players, featuring automatic updates, mod conflict detection, and seamless server integration.Blocksmiths Launcher — We developed a custom launcher specifically designed for Turkish players, providing an optimized solution for modpack installation and management. The launcher features automatic updates, mod conflict detection, and seamless integration with our server ecosystem. It represents our commitment to creating user-friendly tools that simplify the gaming experience.
Looking ahead, I'm excited about the future direction of Blocksmiths. We have several projects in development, and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn and contribute to the Minecraft community. I enjoy working on server infrastructure, optimization challenges, and creating tools that improve gaming experiences. There's always more to explore, and I'm committed to contributing to the advancement of server technology.
